Hello.

I am a perpetual planner.

Some may call it procrastination, but I disagree.  I mean, maybe I am trying to avoid the present, but if it wasnt for my obsession with planning ahead I would have never finished college, wrote a thesis, or bought a dog. Of course, I always plan for way too much. Like today for instance, I woke up this morning convinced that I would clean the whole house, organize the garage, return all my emails,  go shopping for the week, and plan a bachelorette party. Well, I got about a quarter of it done. However, if I hadn't planned at all I wouldnt have anything done right now...right? Nevertheless, I tend to feel like I am constantly preparing for the future, the day when my dreams will become reality. Planning for the furture isnt necissarily a bad thing, but when you feel like life is kind of passing you by in the mean time, then something has to change. That is where this blog come in.

Instead of just planning, this year I am going to get out of my head and try new things, things I've been planning for years. This blog is an exploration of my life, my interests, my city, and my world. Stay tuned for my musings, discoveries, and reviews of what I find along the way. Coming soon: meeting my neighbors, pole dancing lessons, and hosting my first dinner party as a real adult!
